Dad deserves to know how much he means to you. So, this Father’s Day, think outside of the box and plan an engaging and memorable event. And, with a surplus of fun things to do in Maryland, there’s no telling what can happen when you go out and enjoy them. You can try one of our suggestions below or make up your own this holiday.
Take him out to the ballgame! Grab tickets for the whole family and head to Camden Yards to watch the Baltimore Orioles hit some home runs. Hot dogs, beer, and baseball, what could be better?
If he’s an adrenaline junkie, take it up a notch and gather everyone for a thrilling game of paintball. Leave it all on the battlefield, but remember to go easy on the old man.
Maryland is notorious for its craft beer scene. Not to mention, there are several breweries that offer fun tours, many of which are within a driveable distance. From the Flying Dog in Frederick, MD to Heavy Seas in Halethorpe, you are never far from a cold one.
It may be more rewarding to go crabbing in the Chesapeake Bay and catch dinner yourselves, but you can always purchase a bushel from your local steamed crab shop. In all honesty, you can never go wrong with a summertime crab feast, no matter who does the catching. Just don’t forget the Old Bay.
Sundays are notorious brunch days. Head to your favorite breakfast joint where dad can enjoy all the bacon and eggs he can eat. The diet starts on Monday.
Speaking of brunch! Come out to Garry’s Grill and celebrate Father’s Day with a delicious meal. Happy Father’s Day to all of the amazing fathers in the world.
