Maryland is notorious for its craft beer scene. Not to mention, there are several breweries that offer fun tours, many of which are within a driveable distance. From the Flying Dog in Frederick, MD to Heavy Seas in Halethorpe, you are never far from a cold one.

Crab Feast

It may be more rewarding to go crabbing in the Chesapeake Bay and catch dinner yourselves, but you can always purchase a bushel from your local steamed crab shop. In all honesty, you can never go wrong with a summertime crab feast, no matter who does the catching. Just don’t forget the Old Bay.
